Jakarta Blues Festival 2024 Again Held After Ten Years Of Vacuum

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Blues Association (InaBlues) has again presented the Jakarta Blues Festival 2024, which for the last ten years has been like a mati suri.

Previously, the Jakarta Blues Festival was regularly held every year since 2008. After seven consecutive years, this music festival will no longer be continued.

This year will be the eighth holding for the Jakarta Blues Festival, which will be held at the Avenue of The Stars, Lippo Mall Kemang, South Jakarta on Friday, November 29 at 14.00 - 22.30 WIB.

The lines ups presented were Gugun Blues Shelter, Endah N Rhesa, Randy Pandugo, Black Horses, Keenan & Nasution Family, Jakarta Blues Factory, Ginda Bestari, Arya Novanda, Sara Wijayanto, Goodman & Yoga Ogoy, Mahir & The Alligators, Brainjuice Parlor, Stanly Bacti, and The Azman.

With the aim of reviving the Jakarta Blues Festival, the organizers chose a friend 'Keep the Blues Alive' (Keeping the Blues Alive), to welcome this event from a long sleep.

However, this year's event has not been made in the amount of a decade ago. If previously presented four to five stages with the presence of line-up from abroad, this time only one stage was presented featuring Indonesia's best blues musicians.

This festival is expected to be an event for musicians to present their best musical works. In addition, it also gives appreciation to the blues musicians of the country.

In addition, this festival is also expected to be able to produce young Indonesian musicians who are talented and will appear in the international music scene.

For information, the Jakarta Blues Festival 2024 can be attended without having to buy a ticket. This event is intended for musicians and blues connoisseurs in Indonesia.
