The Importance Of Internet Utilization For Da'wah And Education Media
JAKARTA - UIN Lecturer Syarif Hidayatullah, Ismail Cawidu said, the use of the internet today is like a double-edged knife, there are benefits and also harm. Nevertheless, it remains how each party is able to wisely utilize the internet as a medium that provides benefits for people's lives, including in terms of preaching.
"The Internet isa very used as a medium of da'wah and education, install good intentions preaching because God alone, understand the internet virtual world without limits, understand that the congregation consists of many groups, starting with making planning da'wah and so forth," said Ismail in a live streaming seminar themed "Internet Utilization for Media Da'wah and Education" organized by BAKTI Kominfo, quoted Monday, April 12.
Ismail added, today can be referred to as the era of "flood" of information, where the impact of the development of digital technology, everyone can become a news getter and news maker in real time.
"There is no limit to private space and public space, because it is integrated in one digital container, content becomes a career choice content creator, open wide opportunities for the utilization of ICT in various fields," he explained.
Muktiar, UMJ Lecturer added, da'wah is an effort to invite a person or society to embrace and practice Islamic teachings or to realize the teachings of Islam into real life. While education is the process of changing the attitudes and behaviors of a person or group of people in an effort to mature people through teaching and training efforts, processes, ways, educational deeds.
"The purpose of da'wah is to guide people to the religion of Allah, give evidence to those who are away or oppose religion, carry out the obligations that Allah gives to every Muslim, glorify the word of Allah on the earth, all things that invite people to the path of goodness," jelasn Muktiar.
In preaching, he continued, the principle of building the intellectual people is required to jump directly into the field of thought and into practice. According to him, this is really a concrete form of the principle of science and charity that must be done continuously.
"Science and charity are like a piece of human metal currency as the subject of da'wah, must be a mirror of thoughts, feelings, processes and works," he said.
