Jakarta - Tokopedia launched COVID-19 Protection, a Health Insurance product to make it easier for people to get more protection for the risk of COVID-19 and accidents for one month with very affordable premiums, starting from IDR10,000.
Head of Investment and Insurance Tokopedia, Marissa Dewi said, "The insurance claim process is very easy and fast, everything can be done online. People can be compensated simply by including PCR results with positive COVID-19 information. The waiting period is only 7 days".
There are 3 protection plans that can be chosen by the community according to their needs. Starting from the Basic type, people simply pay a premium of IDR10,000. The value of coverage for users diagnosed positive for COVID-19 reaches up to IDR1 million and IDR5 million if they die from COVID-19.
For Standard type, people can only pay IDR19,000 and will get compensation worth IDR1.2 million if they are diagnosed positive for COVID-19, and IDR6 million if they die from COVID-19.
As for the Premium type, by paying a premium of IDR25,000, people can get compensation of Up to IDR2.4 million if diagnosed positive for COVID-19, and IDR12 million if they die from COVID-19.
People can activate COVID-19 Protection in minutes. "Simply by accessing COVID-19 Protection through Tokopedia search field. Then select the type of insurance plan needed and fill in your personal data on the registration form page. Payment can be made with more than 50 payment methods in Tokopedia", she said.
The maximum claim submission deadline is 2x24 hours to get compensation if infected with COVID-19 and 7 days to die from COVID-19 or accident calculated since the issuance of a certificate from the hospital.
