Toyota Celica Will Return?
JAKARTA - There is good news for fans of classic sports cars! There are strong indications that Toyota plans to revive one of its icons, Celica.
According to a Japanese automotive media report Best Car, Toyota Vice President Yuki Nakajima, at an event in Japan indirectly confirmed that Toyota is seriously considering developing Celica's eighth generation. Although no specific details have been disclosed, Nakajima's statement is sufficient to cheer fans.
Previously, Toyota had provided several clues regarding the return of Celica. One of them is an anime series on YouTube featuring the eighth generation of Celica. In addition, Toyota also updated the trademark rights for the name Celica.
However, keep in mind that this plan is still in its early stages. There is no definite information about when Celica will be launched or what specifications will be.
