Ford Mustang Mejeng In GJAW, Will It Be Launched In Indonesia?

JAKARTA - Ford distributors in the country, RMA Indonesia brought the flagship model ranks at the 2024 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) event, including the Ford Mustang which was wrapped in red.

However, currently the typical sports car from the United States is only a display and has not been sold in Indonesia. This was revealed by the Country Manager of RMA Indonesia, Toto Suharto.

"This is still a display, we are still studying the market and consumer interest," he said, when contacted by VOI, Monday, November 25.

When asked about the opportunity to launch the Ford Mustang in Indonesia next year, he did not elaborate in more detail. However, the presence at GJAW hopes to find out consumer interest.

"With our participation in GJAW, we hope to know consumer interest and enthusiasm for market demand and assess opportunities for launching or offering it at the right time," he competed.

There are no complete specifications for this one model to be present in Indonesia, but in view of the existing variants for this one model, there are three Ford Mustang, Mustang GT and Mustang EcoBoost.

Each of the above variants consists of two types of car bodies, namely convertible with a roof that can be opened and fastback. Of course, it is quite interesting what variant will be brought to Indonesia.
