The North Kalimantan Police Chief Leads The 2024 Regional Head Election Security Anev Meeting

TANJUNG CELLOR Regional Police (Polda) of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) held an Analysis and Evaluation Meeting (Anev) to ensure smooth logistics distribution and readiness to secure voting in the Pilkada on Wednesday, November 27.

The Kaltara Police Chief emphasized the importance of synergy between the TNI, Polri, KPU, and Bawaslu to ensure that the distribution of Pilkada logistics runs on time and safely, especially to remote areas that require special attention.

"We must ensure that every stage runs smoothly, from logistics distribution to the implementation of the vote stage. Security must be maximized to create a conducive situation, so that people can exercise their voting rights without interruption," said the Kapolda, Monday, November 25.

"With the results of this Anev meeting, it is hoped that the distribution of logistics and security stages of the vote collection can run according to plan so that the democratic party in North Kalimantan can take place safely, peacefully and successfully," explained the Kapolda.

Meanwhile, Danrem 092/Maharajalila, expressed full support from the TNI in assisting in securing the distribution of Pilkada logistics, especially in areas with difficult terrain.

"We are ready to fully support, both in the distribution of logistics and security of polling stations. This synergy is the key to our success together," said Danrem.

The chairman of the North Kalimantan Provincial KPU explained the latest developments related to the distribution of Pilkada logistics, while the Provincial Bawaslu Commissioner emphasized the importance of preventing potential violations during the voting stage.

This meeting is also a strategic discussion forum between the Police Chiefs/Kapolresta and PJU to discuss potential challenges in their respective regions. Anticipatory steps and personnel allocation have been carefully designed to secure every polling place (TPS) in all jurisdictions of the Kaltara Police.
