The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Has Sealed The Office Of The Governor And The Bengkulu Regional Secretary
BENGKULU - KPK sealed the office of the governor and regional secretary (sekda) at the Bengkulu Governor's office.
"In the supervision of the KPK," wrote the seal at the door of the Bengkulu Governor and the Bengkulu Provincial Secretary as reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 25.
There were no activities in the two rooms, both in the Bengkulu Provincial Secretary's office which is on the second floor of the main building of the Bengkulu Governor's Office, and the Bengkulu Governor's office is on the third floor of the main building.
The Bengkulu Provincial Government only used a hall next to the governor's office for a closed meeting attended by Bengkulu Deputy Governor Rosjonsyah and the head of regional apparatus organizations (OPD) within the local provincial government, on Monday.
Deputy Governor of Bengkulu Rosjonsyah emphasized that the state civil apparatus must truly become a person who serves the community.
"This is a strong warning to us from Bengkulu Province. Be an ASN that really serves the community, ASN that really runs on maps, regulations and legislation," he said.
Rosjonsyah reminded ASN not only to work "as long as you are happy (ABS)", obey the orders of superiors without being picky about whether they are right or bad.
According to him, ASN must comply with superiors, but must also dare to reject incorrect orders.

"Don't want if there is an intervention order from a superior that is not in accordance with the rules, the result will be fatal. Providing input to the leadership, don't be ABS, I don't like it, speak as it is, because that right will actually protect superiors if they do something wrong. Starting today I will take full responsibility to you," he said.
The KPK has named Bengkulu Governor Rohidin Mersyah (RM) and two other people as suspects in the alleged corruption case in the form of extortion and gratification within the Bengkulu Provincial Government.
The other two suspects are the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bengkulu Province Isnan Fajri (IF) and the Bengkulu Governor Evrianshah (EV) of the Anca sect.
KPK investigators then immediately detained the three people for the next 20 days at the KPK branch of the State Detention Center (Rutan).
The three suspects are suspected of violating Article 12 letter e and Article 12B in Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended in Law Number 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code.
The determination of the suspects against the three people began with the KPK's arrest operation (OTT) in Bengkulu on Saturday (23/11) night. The silent operation was carried out based on information about the alleged extortion of employees for funding the 2024 Pilkada.
During the operation, KPK investigators arrested eight people, but only three people were later named as suspects. While the other five people only had the status of witnesses.
