Pangdam Udayana Ensures Security For Election Votes In Bali And Nusa Tenggara
DENPASAR - Pangdam IX / Udayana Maj. Gen. Muhammad Zamroni ensured the readiness of Kodam IX / Udayana in fully supporting security stability during the regional election process, especially voting in the areas of Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
This was said by the Udayana Regional Military Commander while attending a video conference regarding the development of the situation and the readiness of regional units in securing the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections and vote count at the Bali Police Headquarters Rupatama, Denpasar, Monday, November 25.
"Kodam IX/Udayana has deployed the necessary resources to ensure security in the Bali and Nusa Tenggara regions. The TNI and the Police will continue to work together to mitigate potential threats and maintain conduciveness," said Pangdam Zamroni.
He conveyed that cross-sectoral coordination and collaboration, both with the police and local governments, is the key to ensuring the smooth implementation of the vote.

Meanwhile, the Head of Information for Kodam (Kapendam) IX/Udayana, Colonel Inf Agung Udayana said that Kodam IX/Udayana is ready to support the implementation of the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada by mobilizing their resources to ensure security and order in the Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) areas.
Kapendam explained that the TNI will continue to prioritize a humanist approach in maintaining security stability.
"We are ready to keep democracy running smoothly without disturbances, the neutrality of the TNI is a fixed price. We will work professionally to ensure that the 2024 simultaneous Pilkada becomes a safe, orderly and peaceful democratic party," he said, quoted by ANTARA.
He invited all elements of society to actively participate in maintaining security and order, as well as avoiding the spread of hoax information that could trigger unrest.
