Khofifah Ensures Rp10-Rp50 Million In Aid For Damage To Homes Due To Malang Earthquake
SURABAYA - The central government provided Assistance of Rp50 million for houses in the category of severely damaged, Rp24 million moderately damaged, and Rp10 million lightly damaged. The money is in addition to the cost of building damaged homes.
"We thank you for the help provided by the central government through BNPB. East Java Provincial Government will certainly continue to make every effort, to ease the burden of refugees and earthquake victims," said East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa, in Surabaya, Monday, April 12.
In addition to the assistance, continued Khofifah, the central government also provides ready-made funds of Rp1 billion for the East Java Provincial Government. The assistance from BNPB aims to accelerate the handling of earthquake disasters that hit the East Java region.
Khofifah explained that the rp1 billion assistance is intended as operational costs for public kitchens in malang and Lumajang districts.
Therefore, Khofifah said this assistance will be very helpful, in the process of handling disasters during emergency response as it is today.
"East Java Provincial Government has moved quickly mainly in the distribution of aid and coordinating with related parties. Good with Forkopimda Jatim,! Government / Local Government affected, BPBD, Tagana and other volunteers," he said.
Currently, continued Khofifah, is being maximized infentarisasi and identification of data of homeowners, fasum buildings and fasos affected and validated by the team coordinated by the Regent.
The data will be announced at the Village Hall or refugee camp, so that it can be verified immediately so that the work can be faster.
