Calm Period, 72 Thousand Equipment For Regional Head Election Campaign In Jakarta Removed
JAKARTA - The 2024 Pilkada stage has now entered a calm period. The quiet period lasts for three days until Tuesday, November 26, where no campaign activities should be available.
More than 72 thousand campaign props have been removed from public spaces by election organizers and supervisors as well as the ranks of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
"As of November 25, 2024, 72,586 APKs were cleaned in the context of a calm period for the 2024 Pilkada," said DKI Jakarta Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) member Benny Sabdo, Monday, November 25.
Spanduk menjadi APK yang paling banyak dicopot, dengan 26,874 lembar. Selain itu, pencopotan APK juga dilakukan pada pamphletan atau stiker sebanyak 15,381 lembar, poster 11,318 lembar, pulaho 5,685 lembar, bendera 4,702 lembar, umbul-umbul 1,329 lembar, dan lainnya 7,297 lembar.
Meanwhile, Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi has a joint rally to secure the stages of voting and counting the votes of the 2024 Mantap Praja Jaya Operation with the Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Karyoto and Pangdam Jaya Major General TNI Rafael Granada Baay.

According to Teguh, the level of community participation also determines an orderly and conducive regional election atmosphere. His party also dispatched 3,838 personnel from the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of DKI Jakarta Province to maintain security at polling stations (TPS).
