After Experiencing Post-Injury To Defend The Indonesian National Team, Kevin Diks Expressed His Latest Condition
JAKARTA - FC Copenhagen player Kevin Diks reported his latest condition after being injured while defending the Indonesian national team in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. Currently he revealed that his knee injury condition is getting better.
Kevin Diks made his debut for the Indonesian national team when he faced Japan in the third round of Group C of the 2026 World Cup Qualification. Appearing for the first time at the Gelora Bung Karno (SUGBK) Main Stadium, Jakarta, Diks' debut did not go smoothly because the Garuda Squad actually fell 0-4 from Japan.
In addition, Kevin Diks also had to end early due to a knee injury and was replaced by Sandy Walsh. After that, he even had to leave Indonesia before the match against Saudi Arabia for injury recovery in Denmark.
Now that he has recovered in Denmark, Diks revealed that his injury is starting to improve. However, this Indonesian national team player still doesn't know for sure what the condition of his knee is.
"My knee is getting better, slowly, day by day, depending on how the reaction will be tomorrow. But so far the conditions have looked good," said Kevin Diks, quoted from the FC Copenhagen Youtube channel on Sunday, November 23.

Even so, Diks emphasized that he was fine and went through a very positive situation. Therefore, he hopes to recover completely soon in order to be able to train and defend FC Copenhagen against Lyngby BK.
"Hopefully I can train with the team tomorrow, we'll see. But what is certain is that my knees have to respond well today. So, hopefully I'm ready (against Lyngby)," said Diks.
In the nearest match FC Copenhagen is scheduled to face Lyngby BK in the 2024/2025 Danish Super League continued at Parken Stadium, Copenhagen. In the match which took place on Monday, November 25 in the morning WIB Diks and colleagues were required to take full points to coup Aarhus Gymnastikforening (AFG) who was at the top of the standings.
Meanwhile, for the follow-up agenda with the Indonesian national team, Diks still has a long gap time. Because Shin Tae-yong's team will only continue the match in the 2026 World Cup Qualification in March 2025.
