Visited By The Minister Of Energy Of The UAE, Bahlil Discusses Acceleration Of Andaman Blocks
JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia discussed three points of cooperation when receiving a visit from the Minister of Energy and Industry of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Suhail Mohammed Al Mazrouei at the Emirates Hotel, Abu Dhabi, UAE, Saturday, November 23.
"Earlier, I asked Minister Suhail to create a working team to make timeline concrete deliverables in the next two months," said Bahlil after the meeting which took place on the sidelines of accompanying President Prabowo Subianto to visit Abu Dhabi, UAE, as quoted from the release of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in Jakarta, Sunday, November 24, which was confiscated by Antara.
The three points of cooperation are the first collaboration to accelerate the development of the Andaman Block towards LNG production.
Second, cooperation in providing gas for PT PLN (Persero) as well as providing renewable energy up to above 10 GW for industrial estates in Indonesia.
Third, cooperation in developing the aluminum industry in Indonesia together between PT Inalum and EGA.
Minister Bahlil was accompanied by a number of officials from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources including the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources for Exploration and Increased Oil and Gas Production Nanang Abdul Manaf, TA Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources for Monitoring and Evaluation of Anggawira Oil and Gas Infrastructure Development, TA Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources for State Administration and Good Governance Umar Ali Lessy, and TA Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources for the Acceleration of Electricity Infrastructure Rizal Calvary.
In the UAE, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources accompanied President Prabowo to hold a bilateral meeting on issues of common interest that would provide benefits to both countries.
