Bambang Brodjonegoro Leaves These Three Messages To STIE Indonesia Banking School Graduates

JAKARTA - Presidential Special Advisor for Economics and National Development Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro conveyed three important aspects to all graduates of STIE Indonesia Banking School (IBS) in the 2024 XVII Graduation Title.

First, increasing digital competence and adaptability. Bambang said, basically the younger generation must be able to master digital technology, such as big data, artificial intelligence or AI and block C.

"This competition is not only relevant in the financial sector, but will also be the key to global competitiveness," he said at the IBS Auditorium, Mampang, South Jakarta Saturday, November 23.

Second, strengthening creativity and innovation. According to Bambang, the modern world of finance needs creative solutions to deal with economic complexity.

"The graduates must be able to create breakthroughs that accelerate financial inclusion and economic growth," he said.

The third or last aspect is character development and integrity. He considered that technical competence must be accompanied by strong ethics. "Future leaders are those who have integrity, moral courage and a vision to uphold social responsibility," said Bambang.

The former Minister of Economy assessed that the graduates of STIE IBS are part of the generation who will later lead Indonesia in 2045 or around 20 years.

Thus, Bambang hopes that they are graduates who are not only armed with diplomas, but also have digital skills, creativity to critical thinking skills and characteristic leadership.

"The world needs a leader who is not only technically competent, but also has visionary integrity and leadership. Remember that the future of the nation is in your hands. Be a pioneer innovator and agents of change," he concluded.

To note, as many as 202 graduates / female students have participated in the 2024 XVII Graduation at the IBS Auditorium, Jakarta, Saturday, November 23.

In detail, as many as 87 people are graduates of the Management S1, 61 undergraduate in Accounting, 7 undergraduate in Financial Management and Sharia Banking and 47 are graduates of Masters in Masters of Management.

It is known that graduates/tudy graduates of IBS have graduated with satisfactory achievements with an average IPK S1 of 3.49 and S2 of 3.87. In addition, IBS graduates have also been equipped with invitation/tax activities in monetary and financial policy regulators as well as the financial and banking industry.

Not only that, IBS graduates are also equipped with skills training such as risk management, general banking and other training in the context of work readiness. All of them have been given a Certificate as Certificate of Companion for Ijazah (SKPI).
