Suspicious Packages Near The US Embassy In London Police Disposal

JAKARTA - The British police have disposal of suspicious packages near the United States (US) embassy in London.

"We can confirm the loud explosion reported in the area some time ago was a controlled explosion carried out by officers," the London Metropolitan Police said on X.

"Investigations are still ongoing and safeguards will still be carried out for now," the police added.

Previously the police investigated suspicious packages and installed a barrier line in the southern area of the Thames River. The US Embassy said police were closing the road near the building.
