W88 Judol Site Regional Manager Arrested In Philippines

TANGERANG - Police arrested an Indonesian citizen (WNI) with the initials HS alias Ahan who was entangled in online gambling in Bataan, Philippines. Head of Sub-Directorate 2 of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Kombes Jeffri Dian Juniarta, said that the perpetrators were the result of the development of 7 suspects who were previously arrested in the Batam area.

"Bareskrim Polri managed to pick up our DPO on behalf of HS alias AAH, which previously the Directorate of Cyber Bareskrim Polri revealed an online gambling website or W88 in May, where we have arrested seven suspects, who are currently in the investigation process, have arrived at a court hearing at the Batam District Court," Jefri told reporters at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang City, Friday, November 22.

He also explained that HS is a special regional manager for Indoneisa for the W88 website Furthermore, HS plays a role in collecting and receiving deposit and witdhraw accounts or Indonesian regional withdrawals.

"Website W88 has a three-month circulation of money reaching one trillion rupiah," he said.
