BPJS Employment Participants Can Have A Home With Affordable Prices, A Year Of Participation
JAKARTA - The Jakarta Ketenagakerjaan BPJS Jakarta Grogol Branch Office held an HR & Property Talk event in West Jakarta in order to increase the budget and provide information on the Benefits of Additional Services on how to own a house at affordable prices for workers.
Head of the Jakarta Employment BPJS Branch Office (Kakacab) Grogol Rommi Irawan, appreciated the participants who were representatives of the company who were categorized as complying with BPJS Employment regulations.
In the event, he said, his party collaborated with BJB to explain how to own a house at affordable prices using the Employment BPJS MLT mechanism.
"We thank BJB for being our collaborator in this activity," said Rommi.
According to Rommi, his party will facilitate home ownership for participants who do not have a house or apartment as well.
One of the requirements is to be a participant in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan at least a year.
Rommi encouraged participants to immediately take advantage of the housing MLT facility.
One of the considerations is that the Government-Borrowed Value Added Tax (PPN DTP) which will expire on December 31.
"So that those who already have a mortgage can immediately take over (to the MLT scheme) or those who don't have a house can have a mortgage so that the interest is not too high," said Rommi.
Rommi said, there are 3 MLT facilities that can be utilized by developer participants or partners who build BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants' houses. The three MLTs are housing loans (KPR), housing down payment loans (PUMP), and housing renovation loans (PRP).
Interestingly, according to Rommi, BPJS Employment participants who meet the requirements can at the same time apply for two facilities at once, namely KPR and PUMP.
First, applying for Rp150 million in advance for the house, secondly applying for MLT KPR to own a house of up to Rp500 million. So participants are entitled to MLT worth Rp650 million for participants who do not have a house, one of which can be through BJB," said Rommi.
Deputy CEO of Regional 2 Bank BJB Devi Fajar Nugraha said, BJB applies lower interest rates than commercial general mortgages.
This is because the difference in interest applied to participants will be paid by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to the MLT mortgage distribution bank.
"The flowers are only three percent plus BI repo rate 7 days or only about 9 percent. Try to find out where there is a commercial house mortgage for IDR 500 million, provided that interest is only that low," said Devi.
Rommi said that his party would be happy to serve the participants who submitted the house MLT.
In addition to the participation of at least one year, the most important requirement in applying for housing MLT facilities is participants from companies that comply with the rules and administrative regulations of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
"If the company has a record of in arrears in contributions, registering some employees, registering some wages, registering some programs, or those that go too far, don't register the workers at all, of course they will die," said Rommi.
