Setyo Budiyanto Becomes Elected KPK Chair, Johanis Tanak Who Wants To Remove OTT Back Travels To Kuningan

JAKARTA - Prospective KPK leadership Setyo Budianto won the most votes to be elected as Chairman of the KPK for the 2024-2029 term based on the voting conducted by Commission III of the DPR.

The former Director of KPK Investigations, who has a background in the National Police, won 46 votes and 45 of them chose him to become chairman.

Apart from Setyo, the other four candidates for KPK leaders who received the most votes were Fitroh Rohcahyanto, Ibnu Basuki Widodo, Johanis Tanak, and Agus Joko Pramono.

"Clarya, immediately count the Council, please immortalize it first," said Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Habiburokhman as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, November 21.

In detail, Rohcahyanto's Fitroh received 48 votes, Ibnu Basuki Widodo got 32 votes, Johanis Tanak got 47 votes, and Agus Joko Pramono got 38 votes. Although Fitroh and Johanis got more votes, the votes they got were not for the chairman position.

The following is the KPK leadership 2024-2029 based on the calculation of ballots carried out by Commission III of the DPR RI:

1. Setyo Budiyanto (Chairman of the KPK)

2. Fitroh Rochicahyanto,

3. Johanis Tanak,

4. Ibnu Basuki Widodo, and

5. Agus Joko Pramono.
