BNN Thwarts Smuggling Of 19 Kilograms Of Crystal Methamphetamine In Central Sulawesi
PALU - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) thwarted the smuggling of 19.82 kilograms of methamphetamine, in the waters of Central Sulawesi.
"There are three suspects with the initials H, I and N. Two residents of Sebatik, North Kalimantan and one resident of Donggala, Central Sulawesi," said Head of BNN Komjen Martinus Hukom during a press conference at the Pantoloan Customs Port, Palu City, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, November 21.
The arrests were made on November 18, 2024, around the Donggala area. The narcotics were taken from Sebatik to Donggala, and are an international narcotics network.
"Thank you for the assistance of ships from Customs and Excise to win the perpetrators. We have been operating here for approximately two weeks," he said.
Currently, BNN is still chasing a large dealer who supplies methamphetamine. Drugs were brought from Sebatik to Central Sulawesi by boat.
"They are very desperate, where the Kalimantan Strait is quite vulnerable," he said.
