X Sues Twitch For Boycotting Ads That Harm Platforms
JAKARTA A few years ago, Twitch was active in advertising on platform X. However, in the last two years, Twitch has stopped buying ads on X and Elon Musk's platform is actually filing a lawsuit.
Based on a Reuters report, X initially sued the World Advertiser Federation,turbation Health, Mars, and Orsted in August. However, on November 18, X changed the lawsuit filed with federal courts inBAT Falls and added the name Twitch.
In his lawsuit, X stated that Twitch will stop advertising at the end of 2022. The Amazon-owned platform is believed to be conspiring with the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) from the World Advertising Federation (WFA) network.
Twitch, along with other sued companies, is considered to be working together to bring down X in a way, "containing billions of dollars in advertising revenue." It seems, X feels that this action affects advertising revenue on its platform.

The platform, formerly known as Twitter, states that Twitch's boycott and its gang has violated federal antitrust laws. X also demanded a jury court to resolve the matter.
Apart from Twitch,button Health, and other companies that have been mentioned, X has also sued Media Matters, a media watchdog group, with different reports. The group was sued for its article allegedly accusing X of displaying antisemitism content.
Of the many companies being sued, no one has yet responded. However, GARM has stopped its activities after being sued by X and revealed that they will fight Musk's platform allegations.
