Jasa Marga Ready To Operate 3 Toll Deer For Christmas And New Year's Holidays

PT Jasa Marga revealed that three toll roads are ready to be functionalized to support the movement of the community during the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year holidays.

"Maybe for Jasa Marga's group, we have three toll roads that we have prepared for functional purposes," said Jasa Marga Business Development Director M. Agus Setiawan as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 21.

The first toll road to be functionalized is the Solo 'Jogja' Toll Road, YYIA Kulon Progo, Klaten segment, Prambanan.

"So the first one is to connect the one that was inaugurated yesterday to Klaten, it will be from Klaten to Prambanan," said Agus.

Then the second toll road that Jasa Marga functions to support the Christmas - New Year holidays this year is the first section of the Probolinggo-Besuki Toll Road, namely Gending-Kraksaan.

"Then the third, the South Jakarta - Cikampek (Japek) toll road from the Cipularang Toll Road to the Kutanegara Gate and that too for the South Japek one will see the condition if the Cipularang Toll Road with the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road can provide good service, then the South Japek Toll Road will not be operated," said Agus.

"Meanwhile, for the Solo 'Jogja' Toll Road, the NYIA Kulon Progo segment, Prambana and the Probolinggo-Besuki Toll Road, the first section, namely Gending-Kraksaan, God willing, we will function it," he added.

For information, the Ministry of Public Works (PU) checks the readiness of toll roads for the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year holidays.

According to Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kususmastuti, all parties, from the Ministry of Public Works, Jasa Marga and other Toll Road Business Entities to the police and the Ministry of Transportation, must collaborate with each other to support the smooth flow of traffic during the Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025 periods.

Jasa Marga predicts that the peak of the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year homecoming flows will occur on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

Jasa Marga predicts traffic leaving Jakarta through the four main toll gates (GT), namely to go east through the Cikampek Utama GT, Kalihurip Utama GT. Then to the South which is usually for holidays to Ciawi, Bogor via GT Ciawi. Then for those to the west to Merak via GT Cikupa.

Jasa Marga predicts traffic for homecoming during the Christmas and New Year holidays for this year through the four main GTs of around 3,057,246 vehicles, an increase of 17.9 percent for normal traffic.

Likewise for the backflow, Jasa Marga predicts 3,002,175 vehicles, an increase of 21.7 percent from normal traffic conditions.
