Min Hee Jin Leaves ADOR, Condemns HYBE To Be The Worst Company
JAKARTA - Former CEO of ADOR, Min Hee Jin left the label and HYBE company. The decision was announced by Min Hee Jin on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
"Today, I am stepping down from my position as internal director of ADOR. In addition, I broke a stock agreement with HYBE and asked HYBE to take responsibility for the decision of this agreement," said Min Hee Jin on the same day.
In a long statement, the former creative director of SM Entertainment stated that he would take legal action to report HYBE's illegal activities.
"For seven months in conflict with HYBE, starting with HYBE's illegal audit last April, I did what I could to keep the deal and return ADOR to its original position before April. But HYBE was not aware of mistakes or showed changes, making me think any effort would be in vain," he continued.
"I hope HYBE admits his mistake and works hard to keep NewJeans at HYBE the opposite. This is why I sent an internal complaint email twice in April," he said.
He was disappointed that HYBE actually did illegal things such as changing directors and personal attacks. Complaints that were initially said to be not based on facts, began to be exposed one by one, one of which was cheating on the sale of HYBE artists' albums.
"In fact, HYBE knew from the start that the contents of my complaint were all true and my worries were appropriate. But those who attach importance to personal gain, avoid solving problems. I don't ask them to repent but I believe at least they have common sense as humans," continued Min Hee Jin.
Just like breathing doesn't mean someone is really alive, I don't want to depend on money and get caught up in this twisted organization. HYBE continues to use labels to engage in baseless demands, media games to bury me, and hypocritically presents a production delegation contract full of toxic clauses, as if the contract was giving me great help." he said.
Min Hee Jin also criticized HYBE's actions in spreading information that he resigned from the CEO position to become a producer. He said HYBE's actions in 2024 would be remembered as an incident in K-pop history.

HYBE's moral decline has reached its peak and even though their dirty media game continues, I'm not worried because the public is aware of their work patterns. However, if any media tried to attack me, I wouldn't stand still and take legal action," he said.
In that statement, Min Hee Jin also thanked Bunnies (NewJeans fans) for supporting her so far.
"Ironically, through a fight with the worst companies, I met the best people, who became my disappointment. Maybe many don't understand why I'm holding on, but there are reasons and meanings for someone like me in the world. Hopefully you show interest in my new journey in K-pop, "said Min Hee Jin.
Min Hee Jin closes the statement with the quote, "A person's evil actions should not tarnish the nature of the profession. This is really wrong."
Min Hee Jin became the creative director of SM Entertainment and took care of various group concepts such as Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, Red Velvet. In 2019, he joined HYBE and took care of brand identities to become the label director of ADOR which debuted NewJeans in 2022.
