The Indonesian Ministry Of Religion And MUI Are Asked To Be Firm About The News Of The Transgender Of Umrah Worship

JAKARTA - Hundreds of people who held a demonstration in front of the office of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, Jalan Lapangan Banteng Barat, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta, threatened to continue their actions to the National Police Headquarters and the office of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI).

The crowd, who are members of the Indonesian Youth Activists Association (HAPI), demanded the Indonesian Ministry of Religion and MUI to take the stance of the circulation of a video of a celebrity Isa Zega, performing Umrah.

"We urge the Indonesian MUI and the Indonesian Ministry of Religion to immediately make regulations regarding the existence of transgenders who perform Umrah or pilgrimage," said the coordinator of the action, M Happy, to reporters at the location, Wednesday, November 20, afternoon.

The demonstrators asked the Ministry of Religion to immediately examine and arrest Isa Zega alias Sahrul who was suspected of committing blasphemy.

"We urge MUI to immediately take firm action regarding the alleged blasphemy committed by a transgender named isa zega alias sahrul," he said.

In addition, the masses also urged the National Police Headquarters to conduct an investigation into allegations of blasphemy against Islam by an online mother alias Isa Zega alias Sahrul regarding posts during Umrah worship.

"Immediately check and arrest isa zega alias Sahrul who is suspected of committing blasphemy. Check and revoke the travel business license that dispatched Umrah Isa Zega alias Sahrul who was suspected of insulting religion," he said.
