Fully Support The Growth Of Electric Vehicles In Indonesia, PEVS 2025 Will Be Held April

JAKARTA - The growth of the electric vehicle industry in Indonesia has shown more than doubled from the previous year, sales of electric cars from January to July were recorded at 17,826 units.

Of course, this growth must be accompanied by other support, including exhibitions to attract people to adopt environmentally friendly vehicles.

As a form of support for the government's efforts and in an effort to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Indonesia, the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association (PERIKLINDO) together with Dyandra Promosindo again held a PERIKLINDO Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) in Collaboration with Asiabike Jakarta which will take place from April 29 to May 4, 2025 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

"There are three main roles in PEVS, namely socialization, promotion and transactions. I hope that through PEVS the public will increasingly understand the benefits of electric vehicles, both for the environment and the economy," said PERIKLINDO Chairman Moeldoko, in an official statement received, Wednesday, November 20.

Moeldoko further said that the socialization that was intensified at the event was expected to accelerate the government's target of emission-free Indonesia. In addition, it is also a healthy promotional event for the EV industry and its supporters.

"That way, PEVS is expected to become a comprehensive platform to encourage the development of the electric vehicle industry in Indonesia," he added.

The exhibition which will take place next year is also synergizing with Asiabike Jakarta (ABJ), PEVS 2025 will present the latest and most comprehensive innovations in the electric vehicle ecosystem, ranging from electric cars and motorbikes to electric bicycles and other supporting industries to present a more comprehensive exhibition.

Project Manager of PEVS 2025 Rudi MF said, PEVS 2025 will be more lively and innovative, because apart from displaying various new electric vehicle models, there is also PevSHOW which will educate the public about the benefits of the New Energy Vehicle.

"We also present other interesting programs, such as test drives, test rides, EV Morning Run, Push Bike and many more," said Rudi.

Rudi hopes that next year's implementation can also be a forum for electric vehicle manufacturers, the government, infrastructure providers to the community to collaborate.

"Next year's implementation is also expected to be a forum for electric vehicle manufacturers, providers of charging infrastructure, the government, and the public to collaborate and exchange information," concluded Rudi.
