Hiccup And Toothless In The First Teaser For How To Train Your Dragon Live Action
JAKARTA - Universal Studios released the first teaser version for the live action version of the animated film How to Train Your Dragon which aired in 2010. 14 years since its first film, the story will come with new faces playing iconic characters.
One minute long, the teaser showed Mason Thames as the Hiccup who was tasked with killing a dragon. Hiccup felt uncomfortable until he and a dragon named Toothless looked at each other.
The moment became the beginning of the friendship between Hiccup and Toothless, as told in the animated version.
Apart from Thames, this film also stars Nico Parker, Julian Dennison, and Gerald Butler. It is known that Butler is also one of the voice actors in the animated version.

This film was directed and written by Dean DeBlois who previously worked on the animation trilogy. Starting from How to Train Your Dragon (2010), How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014), and How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019).
The story is adapted from a book by Cressida Cowell which tells the story of a young man named Hiccup who is friends with a dragon named Toothless.
The success of the franchise has also grown into a game arena, television series, and a special stage. The big screen is Universal's latest expansion of this film.
The live action film How to Train Your Dragon will hit theaters from June 13, 2025.
