Hitman World Of Assassination Launch On PS VR2 Postponed Until March 2025

JAKARTA - Global Marketing Director, IO Interactive, Jonathan Lacaille announced that he would postpone the launch of Hitman World of Assassination on PlayStation VR2 which was originally scheduled for December 2024, to March 27, 2025.

Jonathan revealed that this delay was made to improve the quality of the game so that it could provide high standards and extraordinary experiences to all players.

"Additional time will not only allow our team to polish the game, ensuring that every aspect is refined, immersive, and smooth, but also to add some additions that we really want to include in PS VR2 versions," he said in the PlayStation blog.

When launched, all the main missions of Hitman World of Assassination can be played on PS VR2. That is, you can freely explore 20 unique locations, each of which has its own world.

In addition, development will also present more than 100 weapons and items in the game, as well as give you the freedom to replay each location as much as you want, to complete your goals.

The PS VR2 version of Hitman World of Assassination also introduces a positional interaction, which changes the way players interact with the game world.

So, instead of simply pressing the button, players will be required to imitate physical actions, such as turning on or off the TV by touching the screen, hacking CCTV footage by tapping the keyboard, or poisoning the glass by holding and dropping the bottle.

"Furthermore, the mission item remains physical and can be checked at hand, which allows players to use it directly within the piece set, for example, swipe the key card or turn the door key," he continued.
