Residents Of Belitung Geger The Finding Of A Woman's Bodycored At Home
PANGKAL PINANG - Residents were shocked by the discovery of a woman's body being cast in Padang Hamlet, Padang Village, Manggar, East Belitung Regency, Bangka Belitung Province.
East Belitung Police Chief AKBP Indra Feri Dalimunthe said the murder of Lilis Sumarni (46), allegedly committed by her boyfriend, Nanang Suriadi (48), occurred on Saturday last week.
The victim's body was buried behind the house using cement and cast by the perpetrator.
"The incident allegedly occurred on Saturday, November 9, 2024. This was known based on the results of public reports to the police," said Indra Monday, November 18.
Indra said the information started from public reports and the police went straight to the crime scene and found the mound of cement.
"After excavation and it turned out that a woman's body was found in the mound in the name of Lilis, who was 46 years old. Based on the testimony of witnesses, Lilis and NS at the house," he explained.
Indra continued, from these findings the police immediately evacuated the bodies and pursued Nanang Suriadi
"The search was carried out but NS was no longer in East Belitung and we conducted searches in several places so that we found an inactive cellphone. Based on the results of the investigation, NS allegedly fled to Bangka Island," he explained.
