Malang Earthquake Tremor Felt To Bali

DENPASAR - The earthquake in Malang, East Java, felt the tremor to Bali. The quake was reported to be magnitude 6.7.

BpBD Bali Chief Executive Made Rentin said the earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 sr occurred in southwest Malang Regency, East Java, the earthquake did not have tsunami potential.

"Almost all areas in Bali feel the tremor of the earthquake. Interim report via radio communication (HT), there were no casualties and losses and damage caused by this earthquake," rentin said.

The Meteorological Agency for Geophysical Climatology (BMKG) previously reported the earthquake occurred around 2 p.m. The coordinates of the earthquake occurred at 8.95 South Latitude and 112.48 East Longitude. The earthquake was felt strongly by residents.
