10 Capim And Cadewas KPK Assessed As Quality, Commission III Of The DPR Dilema Must Choose 5 People

JAKARTA - Commission III of the DPR RI has started to carry out the fit and proper test process for 10 candidates for leadership and 10 candidates for the KPK supervisory board. Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI Habiburokhman admitted that the dilemma had to choose 5 Capim people and 5 Cadewas people because all candidates were considered qualified to lead anti-corruption institutions.

"Yes, today we are starting to carry out a fit and proper test, for the Capim we will select and determine members, leaders and chairman of the KPK, yes. For this Supervisory Board, the name is a consultation and deepening forum for the next time we will recommend 5 people to the President," said Habiburokhman at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, November 18.

On the first day of the fit and proper test, all of the Capim and Cadewas KPK took serial numbers and made papers at Commission III of the DPR from 08.00 to 11.00 WIB. Followed by the election and determination of the KPK Capim at 13.30 WIB.

"What are we currently doing, making papers, later at 13 o'clock we will start one by one we will investigate," he said.

The implementation of the Capim and Cadewas KPK fit and proper test will last for four days until Thursday, November 21. The determination is planned to be completed in the evening at 21.00 WIB.

"Friends are ready, all of the factions from today to Thursday night, God willing, we will be from morning to 21 every day," explained Habiburokhman.

"Why? Because in this period we give each candidate a longer time to carry out the fit and proper process. Usually only 1 hour, this is one and a half hours. Hopefully, the candidate will have more time to convey his vision and mission and ideas regarding the KPK," continued the Gerindra legislator.

Nevertheless, Habiburokhman revealed that Commission III of the DPR was in a dilemma because it had to choose 5 leaders from 10 quality candidates. According to him, almost all of Capim and Cadewas have integrity as KPK leaders.

"Indeed, this is the time, yes, we have to say that Commission III is in a dilemma. What is the dilemma? Because all of these candidates are almost the same quality, have quality integrity, have big ideas, have a good track record of all and are almost flawless," he said.

"So, we thank the Pansel for presenting the best candidates, but in the dilemma we have to choose half of the proposed ones. Out of 10, we can only choose 5. If possible, we will choose all of them, but the law requires us to only choose 5 of them," concluded the Deputy Gerindra.
