After The G20 Summit In Brazil, Prabowo Will Visit England To Aim For Investment

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto is optimistic that he can attract investment in a bilateral meeting with British Prime Minister (PM) Keir Starmer.

This was conveyed by Prabowo on the sidelines of his activities attending the G20 Summit in Brazil, Sunday, November 17.

"I'll be back from here (the G20 Summit in Brazil), I'll go to England to meet to talk about economic issues as well, maybe we can withdraw investment," Prabowo was quoted as saying by the State Secretariat Press Bureau, Monday, November 18.

The President said that his series of trips to a number of countries took advantage of the momentum of Indonesia's invitation to attend a number of events, such as high-level conferences (KTT).

Prabowo used this momentum to attract more cooperation with foreign partners that could strengthen Indonesia's economy.

This is in line with the mission previously conveyed by President Prabowo on Wednesday (11/13/2024) that Indonesia has an interest in joining several economic groups to find opportunities.

The message was conveyed by President Prabowo regarding Indonesia's desire to be included in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and BRICS.
