Had A Dating, Shawn Mendes Admits He Was Not Close To Camila Cabello

JAKARTA - Shawn Mendes opened his voice about his relationship with singer Camila Cabello. Having experienced a breakup, now the 26-year-old singer admits that she is no longer close to Cabello.

This was conveyed when he spoke to Zane Lowe. Mendes realized that many of his musical works were becoming public speculation about his love life, including when he was with Camila Cabello.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello dated for two years before breaking up in 2021. Their relationship was highlighted after they were seen together in 2023.

"I don't think we've been close for the past few years, but we really know each other," said Shawn Mendes.

He admitted that he had tried to maintain the friendship but in the end they returned to being foreign even though they had been good friends.

We spend time together, we really know each other's hearts. Even when noise happens, we can see each other. And it feels good to have something like that," said Mendes again.

He (Camila Cabello) is very disciplined. He will be very angry with me for not eating a cheese burger. And that's fun. I needed that in the period of time in my life," he recalled.

Previously, Shawn Mendes admitted that he was still looking for his sexuality after the song allegedly talked about himself liking the same sex.
