Hundreds Of Irish Citizens Take To The Streets Protesting The Sales Of Israeli Bonds
JAKARTA - In a bid for support and solidarity with Palestine, hundreds of Irish citizens on Friday, November 15, staged a protest against the sale of the bonds carrying banners that read "Stop funding genocide."
The demonstration initiated by the Ireland-Palestinian Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) took place in front of the Central Bank of Ireland in Dublin.
Protesters said the Ireland's Central Bank's approval of Israeli bonds was " unethical" and called for the cessation of selling the bonds across Europe.
Launching ANTARA, Saturday, November 16, Ireland, which together with Norway and Spain recognized Palestine in May, was the country of origin of Israeli bonds sold in the European Union, with the Central Bank of Ireland appointed as the authorized authority to approve the securities prospectus.
The bonds are allegedly used to support Israel's brutal war in Gaza and Lebanon.

Badminton said the bonds were previously sold through the UK, which was taken over by Ireland following the occurrence of Brexit.
