His 1 Ton Cow Was Auctioned, MPR Chairman: Donated To Victims Of Mount Lewotobi
JAKARTA - The Limousine-type cow weighing more than 1 ton purchased by the Chairman of the MPR RI Ahmad Muzani is around Rp. 100 million auctioned. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to victims of the eruption of Mount Lewotobi in East Flores Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
The cow was sold for IDR 250 million by Lampung gubernatorial candidate Rahmat Mirzani Djausal at the Cattle Contest and Expo held by the Indonesian Cattle Breeders and Breeders Association in Central Lampung Regency, Lampung Province, Saturday.
"I will donate all funds worth Rp250 million to the victims of the Mount Lewotobi Male eruption in East Nusa Tenggara," said Muzani in a statement in Jakarta.
"The distribution of this humanitarian fund will later go through Baznas for people in NTT who are affected by the disaster there," he added.
Previously, Muzani had also auctioned her PO-type cattle weighing 950 kg and managed to sell them at a price of Rp250 million.
Not only that, Muzani has also auctioned a limousine-type cow weighing 1.1 tons worth Rp500 million to people who are victims of the cold lava disaster in West Sumatra.
Meanwhile, based on reports per six hours by the Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG), the Geological Agency, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) of Mount Lewotobi, the man who has a height of 1,584 meters above sea level is at Level IV (Awas) Status.
