Drinking Water In Packaging Doesn't Cause Male Infertility, Doctor Says

JAKARTA - Bottled drinking water (AMDK) is a strong gallon of polycarbonate or in order to repeat it cannot cause infertility in men. This was revealed by Medical Sexological dr. Binsar Martin Sinaga, FIAS.

The issue that mentions gallon bottled water strong polycarbonates can lead to infertility in the man is not true at all. It has nothing to do with that," Binsar said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, November 16.

Binsar explained that a number of causes of infertility are unhealthy lifestyles that are exposed to certain diseases.

Lifestyle factors are the most influential cause of infertility in men. For example smoking and known alcohol can damage spermtogenesis because they work at maximum temperatures.

"Production of spermtozoa requires sufficient metabolism, good temperature, and a situation where these nutrients are channeled to the testes properly. So, if the blood vessels are damaged by cigarettes, the liver is damaged by alcohol, it will interfere with spermtogenesis, as well as the hot temperature outside the test," he said.

The presence of hot exposure also affects the occurrence of infertility in men. This usually happens because of the habit of often wearing tight jeans.

Binsar continued that infertility can also affect women, where the causes are such as an disturbed reproductive system, namely hormonal disorders and abnormalities in the reproductive organs.

"The causes of infertility in women vary, but generally occur due to disturbances in the process of ovulation or the release of eggs from egg protection. When the ovulation is disturbed, the eggs cannot be released so it is difficult or cannot be seeded by sperm," he said.

Not only that, according to doctor Binsar, various diseases that attack the reproductive organs can also cause a woman to become barren.

Previously, the Content Specialist Dr Boyke Dian Nugraha, SpOG, MARS said that until now there has not been a single study that proves that AMDK is a strong gallon of polycarbonate as the cause of infertility.

According to him, the main cause of infertility in married couples is because smoking because the gas particles contained in cigarettes can damage sperm in men and women's reproductive organs.

"Smoking is the cause of the number one infertility for married couples, which is followed by liquor," he concluded.

Gas particles found in cigarettes cause excessive production of free radicals in sperm. As a result, sperm motility is reduced due to aglutination.

In women, smoking is also the main cause of infertility. Inhaled cigarette smoke can damage the reproductive organs of women, such as cervicals, egg protection, tuba falopi or egg protection channels.

Boyke said another cause of infertility was liquor, stress, infection, obesity, venereal disease, and lack of sleep or often staying up late.
