This Is The Form Of Jaguar GT's Latest EV, Launching To The Market In 2026

JAKARTA - An automotive brand from England, Jaguar is preparing to welcome the latest electrification era. This is evidenced by the manufacturer having started road testing on its newest EV preparing to launch in 2026.

Launching from Autocar, Saturday, November 16, the car is thought to be one of Jaguar's three newest EV lines that have the form of Grand Touring (GT). This car will adopt the latest Jaguar Electric Architecture (JAE) platform.

Despite being covered in an undercover robe, this car appears to be more brain-brained with straight proportions and long front hoods.

Judging from the silhouette, this car will have low roof lines such as coupe, large wheelbase, and A pillar positioned as far as possible with the front.

It is estimated that the front will be dominated by new lighting consisting of more modern ultra-slim LED strips. The grip section will use a new decorative grILL and the Jaguar emblem in front of the hood, showing a premium impression that shows the identity of this brand.

Although it has not been confirmed, what should be highlighted in this car is the absence of conventional rearview mirrors. Jaguar will replace it with digital rearview mirrors that take advantage of cameras such as Polestar 4 or Kia EV9.

It is likely that the interior has a minimalist display but carries a lot of advanced technology. Jaguar will present a touchscreen function accompanied by an infotainment interface that stretches across its dashboard.

Jaguar will also design a back seat by prioritizing convenience that features such as a USB-C charging port and rear window curtain.

An optional device is also offered, such as two separate back seats as a substitute for the conventional seat.

The technical details have been confirmed by the manufacturer, namely having an electric motor with a power of 575 dk and having a battery with a range of up to 692 km in full charging. According to the report, this GT-style Jaguar will be priced at 100,000 (Rp2 billion).

It is hoped that the manufacturer will reveal more information about this car on December 2 as well as introduce the concept to the public at Miami Art Week.
