9 Months Selling Cannabis, Residents Of Utan Kayu Matraman Arrested In Front Of Enjo Market
JAKARTA - A man with the initials MF, a resident of Utan Kayu, Matraman District, was arrested while carrying out a transaction of dried marijuana in front of Pasar Enjo, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta.
Jatinegara Police Chief Kompol Chitya Intania said the MF perpetrator was arrested for carrying out the practice of buying and selling dried marijuana.
"The suspect MF got marijuana from a friend with the initials AG (DPO), buying for 1 million rupiah. Then MF retailed again with a total sale of 2 million rupiah," said Commissioner Chitya, Friday, November 15.
From the arrest of the suspect, the police then carried out developments at the suspect's house in the Utan Kayu area, Matraman.
"The cooperative suspect showed evidence at his house in Utan Kayu. 2 packs of dried marijuana were found wrapped in brown paper," he said.
Furthermore, the suspect MF and evidence of marijuana were taken to the Jatinegara Police for further investigation.
"In addition to selling, the suspect MF is also a marijuana user. The target is the sale of MF to the people around his area," he said.

MF admitted to doing the business since February 2024. He sells marijuana to meet his daily needs. So, after only 9 months of MF selling, he has been caught.
"The results are for daily needs," he said.
Until now, the police are also still developing the case to hunt down AG, who is still a DPO.
"We are looking for the DPO, it is still under investigation. The suspect MF was threatened with 20 years in prison for his actions," he said.
