The KPK Has The Opportunity To Issue A New Sprindik In The Case Of Uncle Birin After Receiving A Copy Of The Pretrial Verdict
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is still waiting for a copy of the pretrial decision that invalidated the status of the suspect, former South Kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor or Uncle Birin. Further steps, such as issuing an investigation warrant (sprindik) were only decided after they held and studied the document.
"Of course, if the KPK wants to issue new sprindiks again, so that there is no gap in problems in the future, we must be proper and detailed," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters at the KPK's Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, November 15.
Tessa said all the considerations of the judge in the copy of the pretrial decision would be studied. Thus, the anti-corruption commission hopes that the South Jakarta District Court (PN) can send it immediately.
"Institutionally, it must be officially accepted from the court and after that, we will see what the considerations are," said the spokesman with the investigator's background.
"So that in the future if it is to be published there will be no more problems," he continued.
As previously reported, the South Jakarta District Court (PN) received a pretrial lawsuit from the Governor of South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor or Uncle Birin on Tuesday, November 12. His status as a suspect in the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) was declared dead.
Uncle Birin was named a suspect in receiving bribes along with four other people. They are the Head of the Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) of the South Kalimantan Provincial Government Ahmad Solhan (SOL), the Head of Cipta Karya as well as the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the South Kalimantan Provincial Government Yulianti Erlynah (YUL), the Management of the Tahfidz Darussalam House as well as the collectors of money or fees Ahmad (AMD) and Plt. Head of the Household of the Governor of South Kalimantan Agustya Febry Andrean (FEB).
Meanwhile, as the suspect givers, namely Sugeng Wahyudi (YUD) and Andi Susanto (AND) as private parties. A total of seven suspects were named by the KPK which began with a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Sunday, October 6.
This gift was made after Sugeng and Andi got three projects in South Kalimantan. The details:
1. Development of Football Fields in the Integrated Sports Area of South Kalimantan Province with selected provider PT WKM (Wismani Kharya Mandiri) with a work value of Rp23 billion; 2. Integrated Samsat Development with selected provider PT HIU (Haryadi Indo Utama) with a work value of Rp22 billion;3. Development of Swimming Pools in the Integrated Sports Area of South Kalimantan Province with selected provider CV BBB (Bunt Banua Bersama) with a work value of Rp9 billion.
