Strongly Criticized, Mazda CX-60 Will Get Suspension Update

Shocking news came from Mazda's camp. This well-known automotive brand from Japan will re-tun the CX-60 suspension in Australia for the second time in 18 months after being criticized by customers and the media for being too harsh to pass through the mound.

Launching from Drive, Friday, November 15, the company has announced that it will make further changes to the 2025 renewal model and is expected to launch in the first half of next year.

Unfortunately, it is not certain whether the suspension changes will be offered to the old customers.

Mazda CX-60 and CX-80 Program Managers, Kohei Shibata said that the suspension adjustment was too loud because the car had been designed to be too control-focused compared to driving convenience.

"Because we are too focused on a good driving experience, when the vehicle is driven on the road with a mound or a large undakan, accompanied by a collision after that, it is something that makes customers feel uncomfortable," added Shibata.

However, Mazda did not remain silent. The manufacturer will provide additional rear springs on the CX-60 of 2025 with adjustment to shock damping and increased rear reflection damping and front compression damping.

This makes it have an improvement in terms of comfort without having to sacrifice Mazda's fun driving sensation. Furthermore, the power steering system, AWD drive, and vehicle stability will also be re-calibrated.

In addition, it is estimated that changes will continue on the transmission side after this section has also received criticism of whether or not it is awkward at low speeds.

The manufacturer promised that this repair would be carried out thoroughly on the Large Architecture ranks, such as CX-60, CX-70, CX-80, and CX-90.
