House Of Surgery In Karangasem Bali Corrupted, Kejari Set 5 Suspects Who Make The State Lose Rp4 Billion
KARANGASEM - Kejari Karangasem appointed 5 suspects suspected of corruption of Badung district grant funds to Karangasem district worth Rp20.2 billion. The five corruption suspects were immediately detained.
"After a long investigation, we from Kejari Karangasem have established 5 suspected cases of alleged corruption related to the grant of home surgery funds from Badung regency that were given to Karangasem Regency worth Rp20,250 billion," said Kajari Karangasem Aji Klbu Pribadi, Friday, April 9.
Investigator Kejari Karangasem previously examined the suspects. The five suspects are APJ (village head), IGS (financial kaur) and three residents of IGT, IGSJ, IKP.
"The determination of this suspect is based on two pieces of evidence that have been found by the investigating team. Which is a letter and witness statement," said Aji Kalbu.
The suspects were detained by the Karangasem Prosecutor's Office on objective and subjective grounds. The five suspects are ensnared in Article 2 paragraph 1 jo Article 18 paragraph 1 of the Law on The Eradication of Corruption jo Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
"As a result of the suspect's actions caused state losses amounting to approximately Rp4 billion," said Kajari Karangasem.
