KPK Cecar Former President Director Of PT Sinarmas Sekuritas Regarding Financial Transactions Antonius Kosasih And Other Suspects

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has examined Ferita, who is the former Director of Finance and Operations of PT Sinarmas Sekuritas as a witness on Wednesday, November 13 yesterday. He was questioned about the financial transactions of the two suspects and the investment of PT Taspen (Persero) which led to being fictitious.

"The witness was present in the material of deepening Taspen investment activities and financial transactions related to ANS and EHP suspects," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters, Thursday, November 14.

Apart from Ferita, investigators also explored this from an employee of PT Insight Investment Management, Ghufran Ilman Maliki. Both were questioned at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

The suspect ANS in question is the inactive President Director of PT Taspen Antonius Nicholas Stephanus Kosasih. Meanwhile, EHP is the President Director of PT Insight Investments Management Ekiawan Heri Primaryanto.

The status of the two has yet to be officially announced by the anti-corruption commission. Announcement usually coincides with forced detention attempts.

Previously reported, the KPK decided to increase the status of handling the alleged corruption of PT Taspen (Persero) fictitious investment from investigation to investigation. Currently, the calculation of state losses is still being carried out.

In this case, the state-owned company is suspected of making fictitious investments of up to Rp1 trillion. The funds were transferred in a number of forms such as stocks to sukuk.

This process, called the anti-corruption commission, is actually legal to increase business profits. However, the process is not carried out according to the rules so that it violates the law and makes the state lose money.
