Not Borrowed A Cellphone, Husband In Blitar Aniaya's Wife With A Machete

BLITAR - Blitar Resort Police, East Java, arrested a husband with the initials CH (36), a resident of Krajan Hamlet, Bendosari Village, Kademangan District, Blitar Regency, for injuring his wife with a machete.

Head of the Public Relations Section of the Blitar Police, Ipda Putut Siswahyudi, said that the perpetrator was arrested last Wednesday at around 15.00 WIB in the Bakung District, Blitar Regency.

"He has been arrested in the Bakung District area. Furthermore, the handling of the case is handled by the Blitar Police Criminal Investigation Unit," Putut said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 14.

He said that his party still could not provide more detailed information, because currently the case is still being handled by the Blitar Police Satreskrim, including the motive of the perpetrator injuring his wife.

The case began to be revealed from a viral video, a husband in Blitar Regency had the heart to injure his wife, Saturday (9/12). It is known that the two have been separated from their homes for several months. The victim lived at his parents' house in Bendosari Village, Kademangan District.

It was stated that at that time the victim's husband came to the victim's parents' house with the aim of borrowing the cell phone used by the victim. However, the victim was not willing to give it, because the cell phone belonged to the victim's father (Sukarini).

The perpetrator then left the house. Then, the victim and her mother and two-year-old child left the house to buy food at a shop approximately 300 meters from home.

It is known that the perpetrator suddenly approached in front of the shop to meet the victim. When the victim was about to go home, an argument broke out.

At that time, the victim's mother, who was also still accompanying her, then asked a neighbor for help to be taken home to tell her husband, Sukaryani, to pick up the victim.

When the victim's father arrived at the location, he saw his son lying covered in blood on the side of the road. The perpetrator, who is still his son-in-law, is still at the location and is holding a machete covered in blood.

Sukaryani was ignored by the sharp weapon, but after that his son-in-law immediately fled on a motorbike.

The victim was then taken to the Aminah Hospital in Blitar City for treatment.

After receiving the report, the police have secured a number of evidences such as the victim's clothes and a machete belonging to the perpetrator who was used to injure his wife.

The perpetrator also fled until he was arrested.
