Three Draft Regulations Of The Kaltara DPRD Discussed With The Ministry Of Home Affairs Team
Chairman of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of North Kalimantan Province (Kaltara) Achmad Jufrie together with Deputy Chairman of the DPRD, Muhammad Nasir, chaired a meeting with members of the Kaltara DPRD to discuss draft regulations regarding the Code of Ethics, Order, and Procedures for Certifying the Honorary Board of the DPRD.
This meeting also involved a facilitation team from the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), chaired by Plt. Director of Regional Legal Products, Dr. Sukaca, and his staff.
"This meeting aims to ensure that the three draft regulations meet the procedural standards, substance, and techniques for drafting applicable laws and regulations," said Achmad Jufrie, Wednesday, November 13.
He emphasized that this code of ethics was designed to regulate the behavior of DPRD members in carrying out their duties as representatives of the people.
"This code of ethics is to maintain the dignity and honor of DPRD members and ensure they act with integrity and responsibility," he said.
This Gerindra Party politician revealed, facilitated by Plt. Director of Regional Legal Products, Sukaca, is very important as a moral compass that will guide DPRD members in carrying out their duties.
"Pak Sukaca also said that the preparation of good rules is also a strategic step in increasing public confidence in the performance of the DPRD," he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the North Kalimantan DPRD Muhammad Nasir said good order is an important basis for all DPRD members in carrying out their duties, functions, and authorities.
"The plan of this order is expected to ensure an effective and efficient smooth trial, decision-making, and implementation of legislative, budgeting, and supervision tasks," said Nasir.
Meanwhile, Plt. The Director, Sukaca emphasized that this procedure functions as a legal and ethical instrument to ensure that the DPRD's performance runs according to the noble norms and values adopted by the community.
"This event service aims to provide clear guidelines in enforcing the code of ethics for DPRD members. The preparation of the procedure regulations is an important part in strengthening the internal control system which is expected to prevent irregularities or actions that can harm the credibility of the DPRD in the eyes of the public," he explained.
