Attorney General Regarding Timah Case: Suspects Close Their Mouth
Attorney General ST Burhanuddin said the suspects and witnesses in the alleged tin corruption case always kept their mouths shut about the mastermind behind the case which caused state losses to reach Rp300 trillion.
According to him, the suspects and witnesses seemed afraid to mention the name of the mastermind in the case, so they preferred to remain silent.
"In the results of the examination of the suspects, I previously hoped that he would read, who was behind him, or who was the owner of the capital, or who was the other perpetrator. So they kept their mouths shut, there was no mention of person A who was often called the media dj," said Burhannudin during a hearing with Commission III of the DPR, Wednesday, November 13.
In fact, it is highly hoped that the suspects and witnesses will open all known things. Thus, the handling will continue to grow.
However, based on the investigation until the trial, there has been no information that can ensnare the mastermind behind the tin corruption case.
"I had hoped for an openness from the suspects or witnesses, but so far there has not been," said Burhanuddin.
Meanwhile, in the case of alleged tin corruption, the AGO has named 23 suspects who are big in the trial process.
First, Toni Tamsil, who became a suspect for obstructing the case investigation process.
Then, the rest are suspects on suspicion of corpusy, namely Suwito Gunawan; MB Gunawan; Tamron alias Aon; Hasan Tjhie; Kwang Yung alias Buyung.
Achmad Albani; Robert Indarto; Rosalina; Suparta; Reza Andriansyah; Mochtar Riza Pahlevi Tabrani; Emil Ermindra; Arwin Akbar; and Helena Lim.
Then, Harvey Moeis; Hendry Lie; Fandy Lie; Suranto Wibowo; Rusbani; Amir Syahbana; and Bambang Gatot Ariyono.
