ADOR Responds To Alleged NewJeans Ultimatum, Break Contract?
JAKARTA - NewJeans are suspected of considering ending their exclusive contract with ADOR. A content certificate sent to ADOR circulated on the internet on Wednesday, November 13.
A content certificate is a document containing several points related to losses and requests to terminate the contract. This document also shows changes in claims and debt-related issues between individuals and companies.
The circulating documents feature five NewJeans members with their real names, namely Kim Minji, Hanni Pham, Danielle Marsh, Kang Haerin, and Lee Hyein. They asked ADOR to respond to their requests regarding the alleged ADOR violations regarding their contracts.
They asked the agency to respond and change it within 14 days of receipt. One page contains requests to improve ADOR operations and does not try to prevent NewJeans from continuing their careers.
"We hope that as a NewJeans management, the actions that will be taken are in accordance with HYBE's decision to 'throw NewJeans away' and start new things," one of the documents said.
"Recently, through an audit, it was confirmed that HYBE's internal report contained a statement that they were planning a 'New-I-LE' but would create a 'New' and start a new thing," he said.

Meanwhile, requests from each member were not shown, but they stated that the agency was expected to protect them from baseless rumors about their families.
An internal HYBE report circulating in the national assembly shows dozens of K-pop idols being the subject of HYBE monitoring. One part shows HYBE's plans to make NewJeans-ILLIT-LE SSERAFIM a trio to play media about the new generation of K-pop groups.
However, they plan to throw away NewJeans so that the name LE SSERAFIM gets more attention, as well as ILLIT. They also started to carry the names BLACKPINK, aespa, and IVE to be linked to LE SSERAFIM so that LE SSERAFIM can become increasingly known as a group with million seller status.
"The internet community is starting to use NEW-ILL-LE to refer to NewJeans, ILLIT, and LE SSERAFIM, people are starting to call ILLIT again," HYBE documents said.
"We can throw away the 'NEW' and start with something new," the document continued.
On the same day, ADOR responded by saying, "We can't say anything yet. We haven't received a content certificate from the NewJeans side."
