Indonesia Now Has A Social Enterprise Recording Service At AHU Online, For What?
JAKARTA The Directorate General of General Legal Administration (Ditjen AHU) inaugurated a recording service for social entertainment in the online AHU system. This service is designed as a forum for the company to dedicate most of its profits to support various social goals.
Social entertainment or social entrepreneurship is a form of business that not only prioritizes financial benefits, but also focuses on efforts to solve social and environmental problems. By contributing to SDGs, this entity is expected to be able to provide real solutions in important sectors such as poverty alleviation, health, education, gender equality, to energy and environmental sustainability.
The Minister of Law, Supratman Andi Agtas, stated that the social entertainment ecosystem had actually been formed in Indonesia for a long time. However, this type of business does not yet have a forum. Recording social entertainment on the AHU Directorate General system is a step from the Ministry of Law in recognizing and supporting the development of social business actors in Indonesia.
"With this service, we want to encourage new companies and entrepreneurs not only to pursue profits but also to contribute to social goals," Supratman said when inaugurating the social entertainment listing service, Wednesday, November 13.

Selain itu, perusahaan yang terdaftar sebagai social enterterprise di Indonesia harus mengalokasikan setidak 51 persen dari keuntungan bersihnya untuk mendukung tujuan sosial tersebut, seperti penyasan kemiskinan, peningkatan akses pendidikan, atau peningkatan kesehatan masyarakat.
"With this step, social entertainment will become a new economic power that supports social solidarity and inclusive development," he added.

Meanwhile, the Director General of AHU, Cahyo R. Muzhar, emphasized the importance of recording this social entertainment to give an official confession to a company dedicated to social purposes.
"This recording allows the government to provide special incentives and facilities that can support social entertainment operations, especially for small and medium enterprises as well as companies involving vulnerable communities such as people with disabilities," explained Cahyo.
He sees that this service is a way to attract investor interest from various countries, especially in the midst of increasing global interest in social and environmental investments. With this official listing, investors can easily identify verified social entertainment in Indonesia, so they can ensure their investment achieves goals that are in accordance with the principles of sustainable investing.
The impact of investor contributions includes grants, loans, and equity. We are also targeting investors who will provide training to create business models such as world educational institutions that are already connected to a world investor impact network. Thus, we are not only opening up opportunities for social entertainment development at the national level but also expanding access to the global capital market," added Cahyo.
