Marc Marquez Will Not Interfere In The Competition Of Jorge Martin And Francesco Bagnaia

JAKARTA - Marc Marquez will certainly not interfere in the competition between his two colleagues in Ducati, Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia, to fight for the 2024 MotoGP title.

The 2024 Barcelona MotoGP, which is the final series of the season, will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the Catalunya Circuit.

The final MotoGP series will be the final duel between Martin vs Bagnaia in fighting for the world title this season because both are still likely.

Martin only needed a win in the Sprint Race at the Barcelona MotoGP to seal the title.

A number of parties assess that the competition between Martin and Bagnaia to hunt for champions can be influenced by the presence of Marc Marquez.

Next season Marquez will be Bagnaia's teammate in Ducati Lenovo. However, Marquez also has the same nationality as Martin, namely Spain.

Even so, former MotoGP racer Michael Lasverty believes that Marc Marquez will not interfere in the fight between Martin and Bagnaia at the Barcelona MotoGP.

"He (Marquez) has a more mature approach now. He will not interfere in the fight between Jorge Martin and Pecco Bagnaia," Laverty was quoted as saying by Motosan on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

"He can overtake, but only when things are clean. Even though he is a'KILLer' on track, I think he will be careful," said Laverty again.

In the view of Lalty, who has raced for Aprilia, he feels that Marc Marquez will appear for himself to get points.

In MotoGP, Barcelona will be a momentum for Marquez to lock the third position in MotoGP 2024.

"However, he will definitely influence the outcome by taking points from them or making their lives difficult," said Laverty.
