Antam's Profit Drops To IDR 2.23 Trillion In The Third Quarter Of 2024

JAKARTA - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) recorded a decrease in net profit during the third quarter of 2024. Quoted from the company's financial statements, Antam's profit for the current year in September 2024 was recorded at IDR 2.22 trillion. This number has decreased from the same period the previous year which was recorded at IDR 2.84 trillion.

Antam's Director of Finance and Risk Management, Arianto Sabtonugroho, said the company's EBITDA was recorded at IDR 3.93 trillion.

"Antam's net profit achievement reflects Antam's net profit value of IDR 91.6 per share width," he said at a press conference after the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) at the Kempinski Hotel Indonesia, Wednesday, November 13.

He continued, throughout this period the company also recorded significant sales growth compared to the previous year. Antam's sales until September 2024 were recorded at IDR 43.2 trillion compared to the same period in 2023 of IDR 30.9 trillion or growth of 40 percent. This sales value is dominated by sales originating from the domestic market.

With the contribution of domestic net sales reaching Rp39.79 trillion rupiah or now in 92 percent of net sales.

"With this, the figures strengthen exactly the strategy in the world and build business defenses from geopolitical and global economic challenges," said Arianto.
