Meeting At The DPR, Lemhanas Asks For Additional Budget Of IDR 99 Trillion
JAKARTA - The Governor of the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas), Ace Hasan Syadzily, asked for an additional budget of Rp99 trillion in a meeting with Commission I of the DPR. Because according to Ace, in the last decade the institution's budget has dropped drastically.
"The budget support given to us is still far from ideal. So after the foams, sir, if you look at the Lemhannas budget trend in the last 10 years, it can be seen that the Lemhannas budget tends to decline," said Ace in a meeting at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, November 13.
Ace said the Lemhannas budget had not returned to normal as before the COVID-19 pandemic. "Therefore, we hope that from this very honorable forum, Commission I members can understand the budget constraints we face," he said.
The budget allocation given to Lemhanas for the 2025 fiscal year is IDR 187,075,848,000. However, the budget is considered insufficient to realize programs.
"For that, we need an additional budget of Rp99,202,864,000. So it's not big, it's actually an addition. In order to realize Lemhannas programs in 2025," said Ace.
Ace then detailed a number of allocations aimed at increasing the budget. First, to support the national leadership education program of Rp29,555,747,000.
"Among them are strategic foreign study activities that have only been carried out in the ASEAN region. Furthermore, we will plan, of course, if we want an appeal study that benchmarks the country which is greater than Indonesia," said Ace.
Second, said Ace, to improve the national values determination program, namely by training for Lemhannas members.
"Secondly, increasing the national value-fixing program by Rp33,452,168,000 through training for training and a structured national values determination program, by expanding the coverage of national values in each region by 100 people in each province," he explained.
The proposed budget will also be used to support the Lemhannas Goes to Campus and National Dialogue programs of 600 people per province with a total of 6 provinces. This activity targets the younger generation to be given understanding and national values that must be guided.
"The third, supports a strategic assessment program of Rp. 26,836,394,000 including crisis studies, crisis coordination, and the procurement of study books," he said.
