Followed By 110 Participants, Take A Peek At The Excitement Of The KAGAMA 4X4 Jatiluhur Jungle Rush 2024

JAKARTA - The first off-road event from the family of Gadjah Mada University Alumni family who are members of the 4x4 Kagama forum, was successfully held.

Labeled 'KAGAMA 4x4 Jatiluhur Jungle Rush 2024', the event which took place from 7-10 November 2024 at the Jatiluhur Dam, Purwakarta, West Java, was attended by 110 participants from various regions to off-road lovers in Indonesia.

"A separate development that KAGAMA 4x4 can hold its first event well and also receive a positive response from the off-road community," said KAGAMA 4x4 chairman Heri Budiarso, in an official statement received, Wednesday, November 13.

This event is not an off-road competition, but is a means to improve driving skills and become a means of getting along well between off-roads.

"In this event, there are 6 tracks available to pass, where there are 4 mandatory tracks that must be completed. We offer a track that remains challenging but safe to pass, so it remains fun. So far, the participants are quite satisfied with the presented track and we can also finish the event with Zero Accident," said Aleg Purbaya, as the track master.

The event, which was held in collaboration with the Indonesia Off-road Federation (IOF), was also considered quite good in accommodating the interest and development of off-road adventure branches in the country.

"In addition to being held in a strategic and easy-to-reach place by the participants, Kagama JJR 24 is able to provide its own color for off-road activities in Indonesia. The implementation of a fairly neat event is supported by a place that has a beautiful view as a separate point for this event," said the Chairman of the IOF of the DKI Jakarta Regional Government, Iwan Sakri.

Not only events, but the Kagama JJR 24 also provides social services carried out by 4x4 Kagama members in Jatiluhur. The target is to improve the quality of sanitation and clean water for the community around Jatiluhur. Some social assistance is also provided such as the provision of clean water in the form of 700 m pipenization, 20 m3 tank, Sanitation or MCK, 4x4 m2 Mushola to high nutritional Basic Food Packages for the people of Jatiluhur.
