JAKARTA - An El Clasico victory would take Real Madrid back to the Spanish League title race. Striker Karim Benzema believes the match is the final test.

"El Clasico for me is the best game in the world," Benzema told MARCA on Friday, April 9.

"Not only for me, but for everyone, because there are two teams that have a lot of history. It's always been a very important match," the French striker continued.

Benzema has impressed over the last two seasons. This season, he has again been madrid's fertile bomber since Cristiano Ronaldo's departure to Juventus in 2018.

However, the former Lyon striker did not want to fall into the trap of praise. Especially in preparation for an important match like this, facing an eternal rival team.
