Ruben Dias Campaigns Anti-Delay In Great Britain
JAKARTA - The anti-bullying movement is increasingly massive in the United Kingdom considering the increasing number of casualties, especially children.
Data from the Anti-Delay Alliance, bullying does not only occur directly, but also in online activities.
Taking data withdrawn in March 2023, the alliance estimates that 1,544,000 children aged 10 to 15 years (34.9 percent) experience direct bullying behavior.
Then, as many as 847,000 children (19.1 percent) experienced online bullying behavior. This figure has no significant difference compared to the data withdrawn in March 2020.
More than half of these children tell their parents or guardians about the bullying they are experiencing. However, only 18.1 percent experienced online bullying and 14.7 percent experienced direct bullying did not tell anyone.
The emergency made one of the players and deputy captain of Manchester City, Ruben Dias, participate in the anti-bullying movement in the United Kingdom.

He appeared to have participated in the anti-bullying campaign with the Anti-Delaying Association at the British Parliament Building, House of Lords, recently.
"My biggest push is a word of respect," he said when he met reporters outside the House of Lords, explaining why he wanted to be part of the movement.
"The word kindness too, but especially respect. I think when you combine anti-delay with respect, it makes sense. If there are starting points and endpoints, that's the word I will choose," said Ruben Dias.
He added that he hoped his involvement could help reduce bullying in schools.
He hopes that bullying of children will decrease drastically so that there will be none at all.
The problem is, Ruben Dias is worried that when his son enters school age if bullying is still rampant.
"I still don't have kids, but hopefully one day I will."
"You're starting to think, when should I give him a call? Should I give him a call? These things are worrying. The more you think about it, the more worrying it will be," said the Portuguese national team player.
Ruben Dias' concern is not only about bullying, but also crimes against children.
The United Kingdom Anti-Delay Alliance revealed the sad facts. Taking data from March 2023, the 10 to 15 Year Old Crime Survey for the UK and Wales (CSEW) shows that 92.6 percent of children access the internet every day or almost every day.
A total of 58.1 percent of them spend three hours or more a day accessing the internet on weekdays. The record increased from 47.6 percent in March 2020.
More than a third (35.0 percent) of these children receive requests for online friendship from someone they don't know. Then, as much as 8.5 percent have shared their locations publicly last year.
It is estimated that 19.2 percent of children talk or exchange messages with someone online they have never met in person.
Then as many as 4.4 percent met directly with someone they spoke to online.
Nearly 1 in 10 (9.5 percent) children aged 13 to 15 years received sexual messages from last year's data (there is no significant difference compared to March 2020 data). More than three-quarters of them (76.7 percent) received it more than once.
